The principle aim of the FISU Rectors’ Forum is to offer University Rectors, Presidents, Vice-Chancellors, Vice-Presidents and other high ranking university leaders from the five continents the opportunity to come together in a sharing atmosphere to discuss and highlight the importance of sport in the academic world and in society as a whole.
The International University Sports Federation (FISU) will in collaboration with Umeå University and the Swedish University Sports Federation organise the next FISU Rectors’ Forum on 11-14 June 2013 in Umeå, Sweden. The general topic will be:
University and community growth through university sport and our attention will be focused on university sport, but using the five following sub-topics as a framework for developing progressive debate and exchanging ideas:
– Collaborative partnerships
– Business of sport
– University sports tourism
– Innovation and growth
– Partnership support of career management
